Some of my favorite details…

Guests showered the newly married couple with biodegradable white confetti from Artistry in Motion that added a touch of whimsy to the ceremony.

The invitations, which Jayme bound and designed herself, were a series of miniature books — A Wedding Celebration, Area Highlights, and Travel Guide — encased in a linen pouch. Something genius…the program information was printed on perforated business-card stock, which could then fold into wallet or pocket size. Jayme designed and printed save-the-dates in a letterpress class and tucked them into sleeves with artfully punched holes. Invitation envelopes were calligraphed in blue, and the couple’s wedding date was printed on the inner flap

The unique menu reflected the couple’s first year of dating, during which time they never went to the same restaurant twice. “We wanted our guests to try a little bit of everything,” explains Jayme.

Bringing the details full circle, seating arrangements were pinned to a board covered in the same linen used to make the bridesmaids’ flowers. The whimsical seating cards included floor plans of the two reception rooms as well as tickets to a vintage black-and-white photo booth. Guests were asked to leave copies of their pics and a note for the couple behind. The centerpieces were made from hydrangeas, dogwood, spirea, roses, and fern and placed on mats made from the same paper as the invitations.

Vintage plaster numbers, removed from old signs, purchased from Aria, an antiques store in San Francisco served as the table numbers.

The favors were boxes of the couple’s favorite treats: caramel-coated marshmallows, gummy grapefruits, and monogrammed candies from Papabubble.

Jayme and Chris hit the road in style exiting the event in a decked out antique carriage..
