A special thank you to everyone that came out last weekend to celebrate Spring, Moms and a love of paper and florals. Lots of love and snail mail to be made by all and the uber talented Karma Flowers taught the group how to make flower cloches, each one unique and lovelier than the next. Hosted at My Social Heirloom in Upper Montclair, a great workspace for rent and Ashley the shop owner has a wonderful pop up shop of local artisans. See her calendar of other enticing and upcoming events here.
Calligrapher Love Jenna and designer, illustrator Courtney Jentzen of Swiss Cottage Designs, teamed up to create something unique and wonderful – the combination of watercolor and calligraphy – so very yummy!
The Save the Date envelope liner is the bride’s grandmother’s watercolor, such a personal and fabulous detail!
How I have not seen this before now I don’t know but I am soo happy that 100 Layer Cake posted it! A hand lettered invitation to an FNO party from last year done by Bernadette Pascua. One of the hardest parts of designing in retail is the combining of brands and their identities, this invite left identity to the wind and made the invitation simple, but whimsical and fabulously enticing…who wouldn’t want to attend the event?!? I adore!
Any paper obsessed person like myself enjoys occasions in which greeting cards are appreciated. I’d say more than any other holiday Valentine’s Day is about putting your feelings to the test with pen & paper. Valentine’s can cure shyness, spread love, and cement emotions more commonly represented with actions rather than with words. Below are some of my favs on the market this year. If only my budget would allow for me to buy them all, in the meantime thankfully Kate Spade has got an alternative…check out these fabulous and free Email greetings made by her team and friends.
