A special thank you to everyone that came out last weekend to celebrate Spring, Moms and a love of paper and florals. Lots of love and snail mail to be made by all and the uber talented Karma Flowers taught the group how to make flower cloches, each one unique and lovelier than the next. Hosted at My Social Heirloom in Upper Montclair, a great workspace for rent and Ashley the shop owner has a wonderful pop up shop of local artisans. See her calendar of other enticing and upcoming events here.
Aside from paper garlands loving the flower garlands in event decor! These beautiful and fresh delights add so much beauty to the details.
Why not make the first thing guests see a lovely living banner of fresh florals.
I have the perfect vintage wooden ladder to create this lovely tiered arrangement, this plus a welcome banner would make a great entrance at an outdoor affair / wedding.
This duo of small florals on the bride and groom’s chairs is super lovely and sweet.
Bright and bold roses contrast these wood and iron chairs nicely.
Obsessed with this garland centerpiece! This and a few votives will leave your guest swooning for the meal to come!
Small and pretty … string a few multi-colored carnations together.
Simple greens are stunning in long strides as ties to a curtain.

I died and went to an Indian Summer Heaven! Posted on 100 Layer Cake, Amy Osaba event.floral.design, created a floral design workshop and lunch fit for free spirit creative types and DIY crafter do-gooders. Vintage furniture and props set the scene while gourmet sack lunches and cocktails were served, and aside from the picture perfect flower masterpieces each guest learned to create, my favorite detail was the adorable apron take home! Soo many great details you must check out the whole post on 100layercake.com
